About Us

A scenic view of a wedding setup near a pond.

The Port Huron Elks Lodge #343 sits on Beach Road just outside the city, and the moment you walk through the doors, you understand why families keep coming back. The ballroom has hosted everything from milestone anniversary dinners to full wedding receptions, and the staff, led by event coordinators who know every corner of the space, have a genuine investment in making each event run smoothly. With a 4.7-star rating across nearly 150 reviews, the lodge has earned that reputation one celebration at a time.

What sets this venue apart from a generic banquet hall is the sense of belonging that comes with it. The Elks have served the Port Huron community for generations, and that history shows in the way members and guests are treated the same. Couples have held second receptions here specifically because the room photographs beautifully and the staff will stay late to help light candles, arrange seating, or solve whatever last-minute detail comes up.

The lodge is also a working fraternal organization, which means the bar is operated by people who take hospitality seriously, the kitchen has real capacity, and the pricing reflects a community mission rather than a profit-driven venue operation. For Blue Water-area families looking for a space that feels personal rather than corporate, Lodge #343 delivers that in a way few venues in the region can match.

What We Offer

The lodge's main ballroom accommodates seated receptions, banquets, and formal dinners with room for dancing, a full bar setup, and catering coordination. Wedding receptions are the signature event here. Couples planning ceremonies elsewhere and needing a Port Huron reception space will find the room flexible enough for intimate gatherings and large enough for extended family celebrations.

Beyond weddings, the venue hosts corporate events, retirement parties, class reunions, fundraising dinners, and civic organization meetings. The lodge's kitchen and bar staff are experienced with large-format service, and the event coordinator works directly with clients through the planning process to nail down timelines, vendor access, and day-of logistics.

Membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks also opens doors to regular lodge programming, community charitable events, and social gatherings throughout the year. Whether you are booking a one-time private event or exploring what membership looks like, the lodge at 3292 Beach Road is worth a visit and a conversation.

"I had my wedding at the Elks Lodge July 2018. Brian, the event coordinator, was very accommodating throughout the wedding planning and the day of. The staff were amazing. They helped light all of the candles for our centerpieces, made sure my husband and I had everything we needed throughout the day of the wedding, and they even helped us clean up at the end of the night. We received multiple compliments on the food as well. My husband and I were very happy with this venue."

"I had my wedding reception at Elks Lodge (10.14) and boy was the planning process a mess. Aliena is not organized at all and talks about her past brides. A good family friend was married there before me and when I mentioned her, Aliena immediately referred to her as a bridezilla and said her family was just as rude. I've known them for years and I've never known them to be rude. Why do we call women who ask for what they want a bridezilla? Totally unprofessional and uncalled for. While having a sit down planning session with her, she asked us for a "mandatory 20% gratuity" 6 months before our reception. I did not pay it, and my contract does not state anything about this mandatory gratuity. Also, we were originally told we would only have 1 bartender and that if we wanted a second we needed to pay $150. Then on a phone call a month later it was $100. Then week of the wedding it was $125. Why so many changes? Know your prices. And then night of the wedding we had 3 bartenders instead of 2. On the day of my wedding, she emailed me that morning asking me if she should light the candles for our reception. Literally emailed me asking if she could do her job. She then emailed me an hour later telling me she decided to close the golf course and we were no longer allowed to take our wedding photos there due to "golf course flooding". First, she's lucky I even happened to check my phone. Second, my photographer was great and immediately pivoted and found another place for photos. When we got to Elks for the reception there was no flooding on the golf course at all. When it came to the food, they served something different night of the wedding than what was asked for. Overall this doesn't seem like a huge deal except that my Maid of Honor has a very severe egg allergy. Aliena approached both myself & her night of and let us know nothing had egg in it and she was free to eat whatever Elks served. She took one bite of a meatball and immediately had an allergic reaction at the beginning of the night. We had a giant sheet cake to be served to our guests. A sheet cake serves 90-100 people and they cut the cake in huge chunks. Only about 50 slices were served and my guests complained about not having cake. Aliena was no where to be found, & come to find out just left our reception early. Overall, the communication with Aliena absolutely sucked. She didn't listen to us and did not communicate well. Not worth the amount we paid to have our wedding there. Absolutely do not recommend."

"First time at the Elks Club, and I was very impressed. Clean, good food, drinks were made strong, and the all around atmosphere was pleasant. We were at a company Christmas party and the staff was on there game. Had a great time."

Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
